For the second day in a row I've pulled The Star as my card of the day. It's always such a comforting card to see, so the fact that it's showed up twice for me is, in my opinion, something very special.
The archetype of the star is one of hope. If you think about getting lost in the woods, you're told to gaze into the heavens and look for the North Star to help guide you back home. There's safety and security in this card, and after the eye and soul-opening power and energy of The Tower, it's a wonderful reminder that no matter how you're feeling on your journey, there's possibility for all to fall into place just as you had expected.
While the colors in The Fountain Tarot's Star card are dark, its darkness is illuminated by the brightness of the simple yet beautifully effective celestial body and dancing water bearer. Astrologically speaking, this card represents the Airy sign of Aquarius and those who make it their life's purpose to give what's needed to the greater good, offering hope when and wherever they can. Aquarians often gladly give of themselves to help replenish the Earth around them, much like the ethereal figure in the card offers water from her carafe while effortlessly dancing and sharing her light in the blackening sky. If you need affirmation that you're on the right track, The Star is a wonderful card to pull.
I've been on quite the journey myself lately, and often feel like I'm not going fast enough or things aren't moving quickly enough. Pulling this card twice in a row is telling me to slow down, soak it all in, and know that I am in fact exactly where I need to be. I shouldn't lose hope just yet and need to just have faith that I'll end up exactly where I need to when I need to.
How wonderful of a message is that?
Until next time,
